Job Hunt Courtesy

I may still be a little old-school but it is very frustrating to have discussions and interviews with potential employers and never hear from them again. I understand that employers are being inundated with resumes, especially now, however, if they decide to talk to you it sure would be nice for them to give you some closure on their role. You can then move on mentally from that role and focus on other roles. There is no reason why these companies cannot pick up the phone or email you and let you know that they will not be moving forward with your candidacy.

I have a 10 year old business plan on recruiting and it is based on ethical and courteous service to both companies and potential recruits. I do not see why courtesy has gone by the wayside these days.
